A pre-insulated duct is a type of ductwork used in HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) systems that comes with built-in insulation. This design enhances thermal efficiency, reduces installation time, and provides better overall system performance. Pre-insulated ducts are commonly made from materials such as aluminum, galvanized steel, or composite materials with a layer of insulation, typically made of polyurethane (PU), polyisocyanurate (PIR), or phenolic foam.
